Delete your Reservato account

Reservato.ai (com.reservato.ai) · Last updated 9 August 2026

This page explains how to delete your Reservato account and what happens to your information when you do. It applies to the Reservato app on iOS and Android and to any account created through it.

Delete your account in the app

The quickest way is in the app itself, and it takes effect immediately.

  • Open the Profile tab.
  • Tap Delete account.
  • You will be asked to confirm twice, because it cannot be undone. The first screen explains what stays on Reservato, the second is a final check.

Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out everywhere. There is nothing to wait for and no email to send.

If you cannot sign in

If you have lost access to the phone number on your account and cannot receive a verification code, email info@reservato.ai with the subject line Delete my account.

So we can find the right account and confirm the request is genuinely yours, send the email from the address on your account, or include the mobile number your account is registered to. You do not need to give a reason.

We complete emailed requests within 30 days. We confirm we have received the request, verify that it comes from the account holder, and confirm by email once the account is deleted.

What is deleted

  • Your name, email address and mobile phone number
  • Your profile details and profile photo
  • Your saved restaurants
  • Your in-app notifications
  • Your push notification tokens, so the app stops sending you notifications
  • Your sign-in sessions and any linked Google or Apple sign-in
  • Your support messages
  • The link between your account and our payment processor

Deleting the account cannot be reversed, and any upcoming reservations attached to it are cancelled.

What is kept, and why

  • Past bookings and payment records. These are kept with your identity detached from them, so the record no longer identifies you. Restaurants and we need a record of reservations that took place and payments that were taken, for accounting and for resolving disputes.
  • Reviews you have written. These stay on the restaurant's page with your name removed from them, so they no longer identify you. Reviews are how other diners judge a restaurant, and every one of ours is tied to a real booking that was paid for. Removing them when an account closes would let a single review be withdrawn as leverage over a restaurant, which is the thing our review system exists to prevent. If you believe a specific review of yours should come down for another reason, email us and name the restaurant and the date, and we will look at it.
  • Anything we are legally required to retain, for as long as the law requires.

Card details are never held by Reservato. They are held by our payment processor, Stripe, and are removed according to their retention rules.

If you manage a restaurant

If your account is the one that manages a restaurant on Reservato, deleting it does not delete the restaurant. The restaurant stays listed and its bookings and reviews are unaffected, but it will no longer have anyone able to manage it until we attach a new account. If you want the restaurant removed as well, or handed to a colleague, email info@reservato.ai before you delete your account, because we cannot contact you afterwards.

Deleting specific information instead

If you want to remove something without closing your account, you can edit or remove your name, profile details and profile photo yourself in the app under Edit Profile.
